Ep#22 - Hoser Horror: Revenge in the Great White North

Ep#22 - Hoser Horror: Revenge in the Great White North

On the latest Hoser Horror episode of Notes from the Back Row, Carlo and Dan are seeing if Canadians really are as nice as they seem. They head backwoods for a very Canadian double-feature of revenge films.

First, it’s Bullies (1986) from the director of Prom Night, Paul Lynch. Next, from the celebrated co-writer of Goin’ Down The Road (William Fruet) it’s the quintessential Canuxploitation classic Death Weekend (1976) aka The House By The Lake. Which one of these films was so despised upon release that the Canadian film community turned their back on the director? Why, you’ll just have to listen to find out, eh?

A new episode of Notes From the Back Row will be released every other week.
