Ep#27 - Hoser Horror: Jon Mikl Thor's Nightmares

Ep#27 - Hoser Horror: Jon Mikl Thor's Nightmares

This time on another Hoser Horror episode of Notes from the Back Row, Carlo and Dan watch a double-feature of Canadian horror films featuring the one, the only: Jon Mikl Thor. Yes, it’s Canada’s own septuple-threat; a bodybuilding champion, actor, songwriter, screenwriter, historian, vocalist and musician.

In the 80s, he starred in two horror films, both with “Nightmare” featured prominently in the title: Zombie Nightmare (1987) and Rock and Roll Nightmare (1987). Join us, as we discuss both films in detail and decide which of these (if any!) are essential Canadian films.

A new episode of Notes From the Back Row will be released every other week.
